The 21st annual NAPA AutoCare Conference is set for May 11 at the Chicago Marriott Naperville in Naperville, IL.
This is a one-day opportunity to meet with 250 like-minded auto shop owners, to learn about all the programs NAPA AutoCare has to offer, and to speak with the representatives from all of those programs. While it may seem difficult to be away from the business for an afternoon, NAPA Wholesale Markets Manager Kurt Mikuta urges you to view it as an investment in your business.
“It’s on a Friday afternoon,” says Mikuta, who organizes the conference. “Do yourself a favor and reward yourself with a 5-hour tune-up for your business. You can do everything you need to [in the shop] in the morning in your shop.”
Highlights for this year’s conference include:
Following the main session, there’s a reception and expo. Attendees will have a chance to network with other shop owners and talk with more than 50 program and product vendors, while enjoying food and beverages. A lot of shop owners invite their service advisors and technicians to join them for the expo at the end of their work day.
“You look at your business the same way every day,” Mikuta says. “I’m asking you for one day to look at your business a different way. I don’t think anyone was satisfied with their results in 2017. Maybe you need to do something a little different this year. This is one way to do that.”
