NAPA SPOTLIGHT: ‘I like the diversity of what I do’

“I am the connection between Ray and his NAPA AutoCare customers. If there’s a shop that’s not an AutoCare center, I will be the one to pitch it and tell the owner how it benefits their business….I like the diversity of what I do. I cover a vast territory — from Springfield to Madison to the Quad Cities. From farm communities to the North Shore, it changes daily.”

Kurt, who has been with NAPA for 31 years, started out loading trucks in the warehouse. He later became a store field rep, before moving into his current role in 1998. As Wholesale Markets Manager, Kurt also organizes the regional AutoCare Conference, which is set for May 11. He sees it as his “one day to showcase everything the AutoCare program has to offer.”

In his free time, Kurt loves playing hockey, being involved in his church and tinkering with his hot rod, a 1938 Chevy Master Deluxe.
